Our History

Intracta was founded in 2017, building on the innovative vision of Bramson Productions to revolutionize meeting engagement beyond the traditional use of Audience Response System (ARS) keypads integrated with PowerPoint.

The founders of Bramson Productions, Jim and Jon, were driven by a desire for more interactivity and real-time participant engagement, including features like word clouds, quizzes, live surveys, and real-time data compilation.

They envisioned a platform where participants could interact with slides by saving, annotating, and asking questions related to specific slides. At that time, an internal database programmer named Adam was approached with this ambitious idea.

Despite his primary background in website design and database engineering, Adam was excited by the challenge and quickly demonstrated the feasibility of developing such an app. Within a few weeks, they created a prototype and successfully conducted a trial meeting. This success led to discussions about forming a new company solely focused on meeting technology, which resulted in the birth of Intracta.
